How can I tell if Doze is working on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but is there any way to tell if Doze is working and on and everything on my galaxy s7 edge?

You could install Gsam from the Play Store. It includes Doze statistics under "held awake" and you can see when it triggers in the charts.

outside of root, I agree with Javier P, GSAM will show you, not only in the "held awake" but also in the "other" graphs. The free version should be just fine for that.

Simply leave your phone for a while and later check the battery stat graph. If there is an almost flat section with very little battery usage in standby you should be good.
