How can I transfer a Polaris office document to my laptop?

I have a document in Polaris Office and want to put it on my laptop. I have plugged my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 in to my laptop and gone to computer, to open and see files. Polaris Office is not listed in contents so I cannot go into it to find my document and transfer it. How can I get my document on to my laptop please?
