How can I turn my M7 on?

Phone doesn't turn on!!!

Hi all,

I tried charging my HTC One M7 yesterday, it was around 77% and once I plugged it in the wall socket, it turned off and would not turn back on.
I've literally tried everything,

I've left it over night on charge and nothing happened, I've tried holding down power button and volume down and nothing, and shined bright light at the proximity sensor. Red LED light come on either.

Any response is greatly appreciated! I really need help!

Assuming the wall socket is good, perhaps the charger, USB lead, USB port, or battery are bad. Of course there are other possibilities, but check those first if you haven't already.

I've used two android devices and there isn't anything wrong with them.
My warranty ended couple of months ago too.

This is the type of problem that can't be diagnosed on a forum, the phone has to go to a repair shop. Giving you things to try and getting reports back from you, assuming that someone here has an M7 to look around in, could take weeks, and could end up with no result.

Yeah, thanks. I've sent it back to HTC to get it repaired, I don't know how much it'll cost though.

Just an update, sent it back to HTC, and the whole process took about a month to complete and the phone came back like brand new, and I didn't get charged for anything, even though I had rooted the phone and dismantled it to diagnose the problem myself as well.

Similar thing happened to me and my camera also had the purple tint . Both were fixed free of charge. Nothing but positive things to say about their customer service.
