Android Central Question

You see, I don't like the maniacal vibrating, I just don't need it. I can check the message icons, or set it to ring, either one. The vibrating seems to irritate my nerves, and possibly causes permanent damage to my hand, when I get vibrations for every simple-minded little alert!
I do go in to android settings, and under notifications, and set vibrations to "none", but still it vibrates. This is a constant nagging problem.
I recently found one app in Google's Play store, called "Disable Haptic Feedback"
by Onur Timur, that seems to just open and give a ridiculous message. It's stopped vibrating. Why isn't there a better app that makes sense? All the apps seem to be able to make a smartphone louder, vibrate more, oh god even use as a massager? How about for people who want a nice quiet little phone that does NOT cause nervous system damage?

You should be able to disable Touch vibration on the 'system sounds and vibration' settings on your phone, but for individual apps you'll need to modify the notification settings for each app, unfortunately. I don't know of an app that would modify that 'in batches', but you might try notification customization apps like Lightflow, although those are geared more towards LED customization.
