How could I do this????

I have a customer that only has a Motorola Xoom on a verizon account. I have a phone system that needs the internet for various things. The Xoom has WiFi hotspot on it and it does work fine. Is there a way I could use either a WAP of a DDWRT router to connect to the Xoom and then plug my phone system into the router / WAP in order for the system to get to the internet? It seems like there should be a way to do this.
