How: determine which contact is shown for a phone number

I have several contacts that have the same work phone number as they work in the same office.

How do I determine which contact is shown in the call log?

It seems to be random... I would like to specify which contact is shown..

Any ideas, thoughts or tips?

I know what you mean, and it's been my experience that the first one alphabetically will come up.
As an example I have 3 people from work in my phone all with the same work number. First names are
Andrea, David and Gord.
When I call the work number, or work calls me, no matter what Andrea's contact pops up.
I don't think there is any way to change this. If there is and you figure it out, please let me know!

In the call log, it should show the name of the person as it's listed in the contacts and it should show the number underneath. Does it now show up like that on yours?
