How do force my xt1045 to update to Lollipop?

I have a Moto G 4g lte (xt1045} running Kitkat 4.4.4
My attempts to upgrade to Lollipop result in the "your device software is up to date" message.
I have installed the Motorola update services app as recommended, but nothing changed.
I read that Lollipop is the final update for my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Was the phone originally sold by a wireless carrier, or did you get it unlocked on the web? If it was specific to a carrier, the phone would need to be on that carrier's network in order to get the official update over the air.

RY: I don't remember which site, I've looked at too many. They offered a chart showing Kitkat being the final OS for the Gen 1 MG, and Lollipop for the 4G LTE Moto G. (mine)

B. Diddy: The phone was purchased from Cricket Wireless. They said that they were not doing anything to block the update, and Cricket in fact confirmed the 2015 lollipop release for this phone. Maybe I need to pester Cricket

I think because a variant got the a 5.0 update, that's why they might have listed it as on LP.
