How do I access recent Google assistant searches?

Hi,

I do a majority of my Google searches on my Pixel 4XL phone using the squeeze to assist or voice activation, and I see what I want when it pops up. After few minutes I might want to go back to that info I just searched but I can never ever ever ever ever find it. it's not in Chrome history it's not in a Chrome tab it's not in my assistant page it's not in my recent apps it's nowhere. It wastes so much more time this way

Am I missing something.
