Welcome to Android Central! Where are you located? It may be that the specific version of your phone is not compatible with the particular bands that your wireless provider uses for 3G. You can see which bands your phone uses in this link, under "Cellular Networks": Samsung SHV-E210L Galaxy S III LTE Specs | Technical Datasheet | PDAdb.net. You need to compare those with the list of bands your wireless provider utilizes. If there's no overlap, then your phone won't work on the network.
