How do I add an account to my S4?

Hey I am trying to add an account to my s4 and after doing this through google I go back to the settings menu and says add account, anyone know why it won't keep my account?
I used to have an s4 few years back and was fine on that one

What account are you trying to add? I would do it through the settings - accounts menu, select add account
