How do I add description to Google Photos on Android?

I have searched online, and found that if I click on the i icon in a circle, then I can Add Description. I couldn't find that icon, but clicked on Info. I was not presented with Add Description as a possibility alongside the photo info that was there. How do I add info please? I have a Sony Xperia xa1 which is on Android 7.0.0

When you're viewing the photo click on the menu button (3 dots) in the upper right corner, then click "info" and there's an option to add description.
