How do I answer an incoming call while driving

While driving, how can I answer hands free calling on the galaxy s8 where the speaker will come on automatically?

I can answer the call but the speaker will not turn on, so I have to manually hit the speaker button in order to hear the person on the other end, which seems to defeat the purpose of having a hands free connection
