Hello all, Recently i've replaced the screen due to drop damage completely breaking it, After replacing the screen everything went fine and everything worked fine But after 2 days when i went to charge it The battery icon just kept flashing and it kept telling me "Temperature too low Charging will resume once temperature blah blah" Now using ampere app i could see the sensor reporting temps of -15C However feeling the phone it was not cold or warm So my question is how do i remove the temperature protection? or atleast bypass it Or hell i just need a way to charge the phone and use it Yes i know its a safety feature and Yes i know what it can cause disabling it But i really need to use the phone and have no other choice

Do i need root? Or maybe a custom rom/os that has temperature protection disabled? Best would be to bypass it without losing any data But im willing to factory reset and root etc etc to get past the temperature issue anyway possible

And is there any temporary way to charge the phone? I've tried leaving it in download mode but that seems to charge it Very slowly? Turning the phone off and plugging the charger in allows me to charge for approx 3-4 mins afterwhich the alert appears and stops the charging process and i'd have to reinsert the cable.

And yeah i've tried cleaning the port and using different chargers Non of which did anything

I'd also like to know where the temperature sensor is located so i can replace it in the future, Is it located in the charging board or the battery? i assume its not in the motherboard as that has its own temp sensor in the cpu no?

Thats all Thanks for your time!
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there I did the repair However It wasnt my first time replacing a screen. I've replaced s-amoled screens multiple times in the past (one of my small hobbies) for the a21 a20e a52 and a41 I would take it to a specialist however there are none in my area that would work on it asap All of them would take atleast a week and a half, And while i would let them do the repair unfortunately i constantly need my phone for gps, important calls messaging colleagues mobile banking etc and i do not have a backup phone that is compatible to transfer the data to temporary. Thus i need a solution for the time being to be able to charge Or atleast find out where the temperature sensor is located so i can replace the board its on assuming its not on the motherboard (hopefully) Its also worth it to mention I do not have warranty on the phone anymore as it was bought in a different country from an online supplier.

If you trying to bypass that battery warning probably going to need to root and best place for that information is XDA Forum
