how do I change from Google TTS back to default TTS on galaxy s6?

My samsung galaxy s6 recently updated Google automatically. With Google updated, whenever i use the voice-to-text microphone icon whilst texting someone, it used the google tts instead of the default one (you know, the default one that has the round red button on the screen as the phone is converting your speech to text) the phone used before it automatically updated. I noticed if I uninstalled the Google update that it goes back to default, but can I go back to default without uninstalling the google update?

Settings > Language and Input >Text To Speech and select Samsung as preferred.

I have found both Samsung and google tts do not always pronounce names correctly. The best tts to use is Ivona IMO.

Hi. I have the same thing going on on my Samsung Galaxy S6. I've tried what the person in post #2 has suggested and that didn't help. Also I have uninstalling the Google update that made my phone begin using Google TTS instead of the default samsung TTS. ThE phone still uses Google TTS. Is this a bug? What else can I do? I'd prefer to use the default Samsung TTS with the red button as mentioned in post #1. Thanks!..... I love this forum, it's very usefull
