How do I change my network settings

I don't have the preferred network settings feature, how do I enable 5g on my phone

Which phone model do you have? What cell company?

I go to settings » Network » Sim » then you should see automatic connection toggle. If you don't have that on, it should give you Network options available. Not sure if that was what you are looking for.
