How do I change the calendar events color?

On my stock Google Calendar app for the Nexus and with the one account I have syncing, my calendar events are showing up a horrible brown color as opposed to the blue they usually have. I've gone into Google Calendar on my desktop and changed it to blue but there is no option on the phone to change the colors at all and it didn't pull the blue color down from what I changed on the internet.

Am I missing something? Anyone else know how to change the colors?

changing the default calendar color on your desktop changes the calendar events colors on the nexus. the problem though is that it's not a 1:1 color match

I changed it to regular blue. Should I try to change it to red to see if it changes it on my phone? Must get rid of brown.
