how to change camera resolution

I justgot a htc one m8 and when i went to print my pics at walmart it says that my pics resolution are to low to even pri t a 4x6 can someone please help

Welcome to Android Central! How are you trying to print the pics? Are you connecting the phone directly to a machine there? Or are you transferring them via microSD card?

Make sure you aren't looking at a thumbnail file. The photos on your phone should be in the directory /storage/sdcard0/DCIM/Camera.
