How do I change the setting to share photos from "always" to another option in file manager?

I accidentally hit "always" when trying to share a photo from file manager and now it always shares to instagram. I went to settings> apps and notifications> app info> File Manger and tried to clear defaults, but it says no defaults set and "Clear Defaults is greyed out. Seems like having to reset the phone to a factory default is the only way? Thanks for any help.
