how do i clear the beta on the messenger app

I had messenger on my phone i was using it and it all the sudden disappeared and was no longer down loaded so i tried downloading it again and it just keeps saying installing and at the bottom of the app it says the beta for this app is full I want to get messenger back on my phone hope do I clear the beta
