How do I Connect to HD Television?

What do I need in order to connect my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 to my HD TV? If you can proprovide a link and/or a model number ber, that would very helpful

The Tab 4 does not support MHL or Slimport, which are the two microUSB-to-HDMI adapters on the market. The Tab 3 did support MHL, but they took away the support in the Tab 4, probably to cut costs. Your best bet is to get a Chromecast. Chromecast

So the adapters actually fit into the slot on the device but the unit itself does offer the ability to transfer the image from the device to my tv? Is this correct?

The MHL adapter will fit in your phone's microUSB port, but it won't do anything, because the phone doesn't support it.
