How do I control the spelling of a word?

I use the word Willow constantly in my texts as it's my daughter's name. Unless it's at the start of a sentence it always has a lower case w as willow is a word as in the tree. Can I set it so that the phones first option for willow is always with a capital W?

Welcome to Android Central! Which keyboard app are you using? If it's Gboard, the best I can suggest is to add "Willow" to your personal dictionary, with the shortcut being "willow." Whenever you type willow, the capitalized word will be the main suggestion (but, unfortunately, it won't autocorrect -- you have to tap the selection).
