How do I correct my sign in if it fails due to unknown change

Received a post from email stating my email sign in has failed due to sign in change it requires a re-sign in, I have put in passwords for email which has failed repeatedly and I need help specific Instructions solving this problem asap

Welcome to Android Central! Who emailed you? I'd be very cautious about this, because it could be a scam email designed to phish for your password. Remember, legitimate emails from your accounts will NEVER ask you to reply with your password.
