Hello. Don't have a newer Samsung.
Try long pressing on the app drawer / list page (not a home screen) and you should get either an uninstall option, or swipe to the top to uninstall.

Default scenario is going to the Applications Manager setting - Downloads or All column - tap the app you want for the App Info screen, and you can Uninstall there.

There are a couple ways to delete an app you installed. First you can go into settings and uninstall it in Application Manager, or you you are in the application screen (not the home screen) you can drag it to the top of the screen to the left and you will see Uninstall icon appear.

Keep in mind that if you are removing an app that has extras you d/l separately like launcher add-ons you need to disable them first to remove them.
