Android Central Question

I recently downloaded a video on my Galaxy S7 that would help me with fixing a component on my car. After deleting the video from my phone, the file must have been corrupted because it is now hiding the entire "Downloaded" gallery on my phone. When I go to "My Files" my downloaded images are still there yet I ca't see them in the Gallery app. I recently downloaded a test image and the same video, and the "Downloaded" album reappeared again. But when I deleted them, the album disappeared again. I can see the corrupted file, and when I try to delete it, it says that it can not be deleted or downloaded from the cloud. Please help as I cannnot delete the file or have my "Downloaded" album reappear again.

Welcome to Android Central! Also, using your file manager, see if there's a file called .nomedia in the /Download directory.
