How do I delete duplicate apps in my app drawer?

[Android Central Question]

When the sales person transferred my data to my Pixel 6 she sent it all multiple times from a few different transfer applications. So now I have two Facebook apps, two Wish apps, two Capital One apps, etc. However they have the same information when you open up the pair. I'm afraid if I delete or uninstall one, then both will disappear. I'm not tech savvy by any means and need to be explained to like I'm a 5yr old so I can comprehend.

My advice for the future: do not let the sales reps "transfer" anything to your new phone, that will help avoid this situation. I think the only way to get rid of the duplicates is to uninstall the app which should clear both copies. You will have to sign back into each app with that app's credentials (username, password, etc.).
