How do I delete locations in the location history?

I have location tracking turned on in Google Maps. For the most part it gets things right. Other times I correct entries to the proper location.

However, I'd like to know how to delete entries that Google posts to the history. There is one busy intersection that often takes a long time to get through. Google Maps thinks I stopped at a place of business when I haven't. So it erroneously puts an entry into the location history. I suppose I could just ignore this, but I'm a stickler for neatness and would just like to delete this entry. How can I do that?

Also, there are times when I try to correct an entry that Google has guessed wrong I can't find a correct entry in the search. How do I add entries to the search?

What application you want to delete locations history. Just find in that application

As I said in the OP the location history shows up in Google Maps. There's no method to delete locations in the location history within Maps.

Not sure if the setting is there but try going to Google dashboard for your Google login and see if you can modify your history. Type "Google dashboard" in a search engine to find it.

Thanks. I went there but couldn't figure out how to do it. I could delete an entire day or all of my history but not a single lone entry.
