How to delete Missed Calls from my MOTO G cellphone

I've taken over my wife's old phone and it's loaded with missed calls.

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.
I am not sure if you can clear Missed only, but you can clear All call history.
Wouldn't you rather reset the device to have your own Google account? Before doing that you can record the call history on her Gmail account by installing and syncing the SMS Backup + app and enabling Call Log syncing, they will then appear on a folder in her Gmail inbox page, along with the SMS history.

As far as I know, you can export her contacts to what now would be your Google device after you reset it.
