How do I delete ONE app from a created folder on a home screen?

I have organized all of my apps by type and I have 1 that needs to be moved from one folder to another. How do I do this? Get it out of one folder into another without deleting the entire folder? If it CANNOT be done, if a folder is deleted, does it automatically delete all of the apps in it as well?

Open the folder tap and hold on the app then move it to the other folder
