how do I delete unwanted phone numbers from 'All Contacts' and 'History'?

I am new to Android's operating system. I have a BLU 7.0. I have our house phone forwarded to the Android and can't figure out how to delete them or block future phone calls.

To delete contacts, long-press the contact, then tap Delete. To block calls, if the Blu doesn't have call blocking built in, you can use an app like BlackList.

As far as the history goes, if you mean the call log, it's the same as a contact - long-press, then Delete.
