How to disable temperature sensor

Hello,

I've got an old Galaxy Grand Prime (G-530FZ) running on android 5.0.2

Some water got into the device and it damaged the temperature sensor. Device is rooted, there is no warranty on the device.

I cannot charge the device nor run applications 3-4 minutes after booting the device.

Q: Since the device is completely cold and there are no overheating issues, how can I disable/change the value of max temperature in battery_temp (or battery_temp_table) .conf files?

PS. Only software solutions are acceptable for me, I've tried the rice stuff, cleaning mobo and usb port with alcohol, changing batteries, changing chargers, and I do not consider mobo/usb replacement.

If you dial *#0*# that will put you in service mode. There you may be able to recalibrate the sensor it at least check if it's working....
Usually there are no software solutions to hardware problems....
