How do I disable fingerprint scanning on my S6?

Thank you, Thank you! Everything was greyed out, but this worked like a charm. (Although I had to enter my password, because ... ironically ... the fingerprint scanner didn't work.

I didn't set it, I opened my Tab and it started the scanning. I've tried security ----clear credentials, but it's greyed out, unable to activate it
