How do I disable Google Photo Backup and delete the photos and videos in there?

Disable Google Photo Backup

I've never logged onto google + and know nothing about it. By default, my S5 automatically backs up all my photo and videos to my google drive account which is eating into my allotment of space. I have Microsoft OneDrive for my photo backups.

1. How do I disable the google photo backups?

2. How do I delete the currently backed up photos/videos from my google drive account?

I'm running KitKat 4.4.4

This might help for question 1. I don't use google drive, so I'm not sure how to deal with #2.

Open google+ then press the three dots top right
Then settings it shows your account at the top press your account this opens the sync settings here you can turn things off

i did that and it still does it i finally turned off g+
