How do I disable the smart remote on my Note 4?

how do I disable the smart remote on my note 4

I set up smart remote but it doesn't do exactly what I want and now I want to disable it. I may reset it in the future but for now I want to turn it off.

I can't use my regular remote with smart remote enabled.

I set up smart remote on my note 4 just to test it,then decided I didn't want to use it,I went and deleted the cache and data on the app and it's undone, I may use it in the future not sure,hope I helped you out
