I have an s4mini and in Settings and Lock Screen the "multiple widgets" is grayed out, I can not select it and turn Camera shortcut ON in lockscreen. any thoughts why I can not enable this on my s4 mini but I can the s4?

See attached image, thank you.

That's really strange. I would just IM Samsung support on that one honestly.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using AC Forums mobile app

It's the same on mine I just figured that particular option was not available.

Once I turned the screen mode to Standard, I was able to enable Camera shortcut on lock screen.

Settings
My Device
Display
Screen Mode
Standard

Then you can edit Lock Screen to enable shortcut = Camera.

The screen mode doesn't affect the lock screen. It is to set the color profile for different cases. Some lock screen types wont allow multiple widgets. For me having the "pattern" lock screen did not allowed me to have the camera widget on the lock screen, when I changed the lock screen type to "swipe" the option to set multiple widgets were enabled. I haven't tested with other lock screen types. Also try other types, see if any allows multiple widgets and is also secure.

I did that changing the security thing but I still don't get the camera or widgets on my lock screen. Every time I swipe to the right, like I've read to do to edit the widges, it just unlocks my phone.

the same thing is happening with my samsung galaxy s4 mini, i have read that this happen when we update to Android 4.4.2, if you Find a way to correct it please let me know, i haven't found anything about it.

Yeah it's a kitkat thing.
If you're rooted you can easily fix it with a few different Xposed modules. Just scroll through the list of downloads in the Xposed framework until you find it (can't remember the name at the moment).
