I used to have a feature enabled on Google Maps, I'm not sure what it's called (perhaps "Driving mode", or something), where a miniaturized control panel popped up at the bottom of Google Maps, which would show you things like what song was playing on Spotify (and other music players too), and a music controls like pause and next song, etc. That went away at one point, and I would like to enable it again. I can't find it in Maps' preferences.

Solution
Open Maps, go to Settings and select 'Navigation Settings'. There, find the 'Google Assistant settings' and toggle 'Launch Driving mode' on.

I wanna say that to new people who reach this forum that this feature was part of Google’s old “Driving Mode” But Google quietly removed or changed it in recent updates, so it’s no longer available the same way.
