I'm trying to enter a password that contains a percent sign. I cannot find it on the keyboard. I'm sure I'm missing something. Help?

Press and hold the "c" key for a second, and alternate characters, including % will appear. All keys that show and alternate character in the upper RH corner (in this case # ) access alternates.

No, does not work.
THere's no "%" symbol under "c", only some French characters.
Please help!

There are two screen of symbols. First, press the "123 SYM" on your keyboard (lower left hand corner). Then look for the button that says "1/2"--which, ironically, doesn't mean "half" but, rather, "screen one of two." When you press the 1/2 key, you will see a second symbol screen. That is where the percent symbol (%) is.

There in no Sym123 in my kindle calculator (HDX). Nothing I press gives me access to a new screen. Please help!

Go into the numbers and then press the little equal slash sign that's highlighted Gray and that will bring up another keyboard with the % in it. %%
