How do i extend my screen blackout time ?

I have a samsung s7 and cant extend the blackout time on my screen for more than 20 seconds. I have gone to the display settings and set it for 10 minutes but it still goes out in about 20 seconds

I'm not familiar with Samsungs but do you perhaps have any battery-saving settings enabled? I'm guessing that if you did, it would then not in fact be possible to select a longer time, but I'm not sure of that.
