File temporarily downloaded but can't find it to delete it!
I have a LG Lucid 2 running jellybean, and I was downloading a file from chrome. The file was on google drive and so it asked me to open which app, drive or chrome. I pressed drive and then on google drive it had asked me with what to open the file with, where only one app was available - File Manager (the pre-installed file manager for my phone).
It then commenced downloading and then did I only realize how large the file was... 594 MB. It was a .zip file. After downloading it showed it was able to open but I did notice that my phone said I was running out of space. When I tried to extract it, it stated that I couldn't. So I closed out of it. I tried to click on the "up folder" button to move up the branches and find where it was stored but it wouldn't keep going.
Ever since then, I can't find the file to delete it and my phone is running out of space so it's really annoying. :/ I tried to find the file using file manager and I even searched for a .zip using both the file manager and also windows explorer when plugging the phone into my laptop.
I'm not sure if it was saved into somehow a different temporary file but after using Clean Master app to find the large files that I could delete, none were even close to the size of the file I downloaded. I'm not sure what to do. I restarted in hopes that a temporary file would be abandoned/deleted but the message is still there and looking at my storage, it shows only a few MBs left.
Please help!
