How do I find Application Manager? I can't find it in settings

How do i find Application Manager? I cant find it on settings.

I'm trying to get rid of a text notification which refuses to go away.

Are you saying that disabling notification from your messaging app. doesn't stop them?
Or are you trying to disable just one particular notice?

Welcome to the forums. What phone do you have? You could try clearing cached data in settings - storage and then restart the phone.

If you store a lot of emails in your inbox, you may want to scroll through the list, there may be one unopened email from a few days ago (or weeks, months).

Thanks for the help.I tried what you said but im still seeing the 1 on the icon. These are the phone details.VFD600 Android version 6.0.1

Welcome to Android Central! This kind of thing happens from time to time. You might have to clear the homescreen launcher's cache/data (which wipes the homescreen, meaning you have to set up your icons again). Go to Settings>Apps, select Launcher (or whatever it's called--it could be something like Home), the Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now go back to the homescreen, and set it up again the way you had it before.
