How do I fix Bootloop On a Blu Dash 5.5 D470u?

[AC Question]

I have my mom's old phone and she already got a new one since she ruined the old one aka the one I have now. And I'm trying to fix it but when ever I try to boot into recovery mode and factory reset it, it just flashes the screen then goes back to the logo but then now it only works with it plugged in cause there maybe something wrong with the battery, and it will flash the screen then return to the battery. Any help would be nice, thanks!

I think the OP is saying that the phone was freezing on the bootscreen, and now will only power on briefly while plugged in, before shutting off again and showing the battery icon on the screen.

The first thing I'd try is a replacement battery.
