How do i fix my downloader manager

[Android Central Question]

All of a sudden my download manager won't download PDF files anymore. It keeps saying under the File name Download Unsuccessful. How do I fix it? I Don't know if I changed a setting by mistake. If I Did I can't figure out whitch settings I changed or how to change so I can download PDF again. I already cleared my browsing history & Clean the Catch. I have tried different tips online I can't seem to get my phone to start Downloading again.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Go to Settings>Apps, tap Menu>Show System, then select Download Manager. Clear its app cache and data, then try downloading those files again.

Where are you downloading these files from, and what are you using to download?
