how to fix htc one m8

my m8 dropped in salt water about two days ago. Since then its been in rice for a full day and I took it apart to manually dry the internals. This morning the screen turned on for about half a second then went off (I had plugged it into charge). I then took it apart again and cleaned the motherboard with 70% isoproply Alcohol and I noticed there was a a lot of green residue which I assume is corroded copper. I plugged it into charge again and the red LED indicator stays on for about 10 seconds then goes off and repeats this process. Is there anything more I can do to fix the phone aside from taking it to repair?

Ouch. Salt water is some of the worst stuff you can get in a phone.
If your already seeing corrosion time to replace the device. Theres no "fixing" that. The damage has been done.
Also in the future try to use 99.9% isopropyl alcohol. Thats the best to use on electronics.
