How do I fix my Samsung sync issues?

Hello. I am trying to get everything ready to move to a new phone (another S5 like I am currently using) and realized that all of my Samsung account has not synchronized since June 30th. It will not regardless of what I do either. I have turned off all Sync functions (individually and overall) and retried at a later time with no success. I have cycled power after turning off and had no results either. All the answers I have found seem to boil down to 'factory reset' or remove account and reinstall. I don't want to lose all of my data (calendar info, health app data, etc) which is the whole point of syncing afterall, but that's what will happen if I do either of those things. Does someone have a fix that won't have me losing everything? Thanks.

Helium or MyBackup Pro should take care of your needs, as described in, Backup! Backup! Backup! NOW!. Other methods of backing up and restoring are also mentioned in the post.

I tried both suggestions, but apparently my phone is not 'rooted' so they don't work. Your link won't take me anywhere on my computer or my phone. Apologies if there's more info in there. Any other ideas?

Have repaired the link. Helium and MyBackup don't require you to be rooted for normal backups. Other methods are available in the post.
