How do I get apps/movies to save to SD storage on Galaxy Tab4 7.0

How do I get movies to save to the SD card...right now when I try to download the tablet tells me there is not enough memory...but it's trying to save to the internal memory.

Also, why do some apps appear to have the capability to move to external SD, but when you try to move it...the tablet thinks for a second and then says it is unable to move. TIA

Some apps can't be moved to sd card.

With regards to movies, check on the settings... Google Play movies can be set to save the movies to the sd card.

This is me again, but now I'm logged in...do I go to the settings on my Play movies app to do this? Also, the app I was trying to move had the 'move to SD card' button highlighted...as if it was possible to do so...but then it just didn't. I have seen some of the apps without this capability...but this wasn't the case...
