How do I get back my events and appointments for my Note4?

I did an update on my Note4 and it wiped my s planner, plus I tried to put in an appointment but it gets wiped out. Help please.

Welcome to Android Central! Were the events synced with your Google Calendar in the cloud, or anywhere else like your Samsung account? Or were they only on the phone? I always strongly recommend syncing data like this to a reliable cloud system, like Google's, for just this type of possibility. If the events were only located on the phone, and they got wiped out by the update, then they're gone--sorry!
