How do I get com.facebook.katana app off??

com.Facebook.katana continues to pop up on my tablet!! Saying it is not responding and to close app. Or get feedback!! It will not close, and I do not want it, whatever it is!!!

Katana is the project code name for the Facebook app on Android. (Orca is the code name for Facebook Messenger.)

If you installed the Facebook app, you can uninstall it.
If the Facebook app was pre-installed, you can only disable it.
