How Do I Get Emoji To POST In Instagram With The Gs4

After extensive testing I found the 2 best keyboards for emoji is the stock Samsung keyboard or touchpalx keyboard. And yes I have tried them all lol

I tried disabling my swift key and using the stock samsung keyboard. I didn't find any emoji. I'm gonna try touchpal x. If you can post how you did it on the stock samsung keyboard that would dope

Also when I use touch pal x and send a bunch of emoji I can't see them on screen. Anyone else having this problem?

If you are using a font other than default it will be blank boxes.

ok so, I got the Jelly Bean 4.3 update, once I had that the Samsung s4 stock keyboard now supports the emoji - to use it is just like inputting normal smileys. in the bottom left hand corner next to "Sym" is the settings key - hold that and it should open up into other options like keyboard size, google input etc. choose the smiley face and there are all the emojis.

At this point with the stock texting app it sends them as MMS but this didn't affect me as I was using textra app for texting. this is something Samsung need to fix.

so with the emojis on Samsung s4 using touchpalx you have to either use another texting app or update to jelly bean 4.3.

hope this helps.

I pretty much tried it all including swiftkey which is suppose to be the " it" for emoji's...well that didn't work for me! ...till I downloaded....Ai emojis and then the keyboard Ai keyboard right after, and then set the keyboard as default that's all you have to do ... now i'm able to use my emojis thru text/Instagram and also change the keyboard themes ....I'm soo happy and I highly recommended!

If you are on stock android 4.4, on the stock keyboard if you press and hold the enter/search (lil magnifying glass) key, the smiley will pop up and provide access to emojis. Works systemwide from what I've found.

SwiftKey has an issue with Instagram and the changing of the Emoji key with an action key. Since SwiftKey can predict Emoji you can type the name of the Emoji and have it show up as a prediction then select. This is a work around, although inconvenient, until the SwiftKey team finds a workable solution.
