I bought an LG Sport. I like it well enough, but one of the primary reasons I bought it is to be a step counter (among other reasons of course). I find the Google Fit step counter to be crazy inaccurate. I mean CRAZY. Like I work from home, and I sit at my computer all day and work. The watch will normally register 2000-4000 steps a day when I never leave (my house isn't that big I swear).
I thought maybe the LG Health step counter would be more accurate, but I am having a heck of a time getting it to work on the watch. I downloaded the app on my phone, and then it showed on my watch to download as well. That is as far as I got. I don't see a way to do anything with it on my watch at all now to set it up as the default step counter.
I tried to see if there was also a way to calibrate the accelerometer, but no such luck. This is my last idea before just selling the watch.
