How do I get my Droid Turbo off of Demo Mode?

Demo Mode

So my brother just got a Droid Turbo today, bought it from Best Buy, and it seems like its still in demo mode. We force quit it but it seems to still do demo stuff, like can't access quick settings. Was able to add google accounts, download apps, ect. So what? Do a factory reset? Bootloader and load a signed rom?

I read this somewhere else: "For Motorola devices, the password to wipe the device after it being set in demo mode is 'demomodeexit'."

Though, if it were me, I'd be back at that best buy getting the person who sold it to me to take care of it.

I think the demo mode is just the default home app - can you go into settings / default home and choose the stock launcher, or install a new one from the play store, like Google now launcher?

If it's an issue with the software, take it back and request a new one.

I already installed Nova Launcher Prime, still got a few hiccups I think, like still not getting into quick settings so its probably something with the rom.

Quick settings now work. But opening the settings app it says Settings (Demo Mode) or something like that, and factory reset is password locked. So just doing a reset now.
