How do I get my galaxy s5 phone to connect to my qi wireless charger

I bought a wireless charger for my Galaxy S5 it looks like a hockey puck it has A blue ring on it

Place the phone on the charger and move it around slowly (move half an inch, then wait a second) until the light comes on. The phone has to be placed so that its coil is in alignment with the charging plate's coil.

Do you have a wireless charging back on your phone? Won't work with regular stock S5 back.
